Project Odyssey for Active Duty
A Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) program that uses challenge-based experiences to build resilience, adaptability, and practical life skills.
Project Odyssey® is a no-cost mental health program designed for active-duty service members who want to strengthen resilience, adaptability, and personal effectiveness. Through adventure-based learning and shared experiences, participants build practical skills they can use on duty, at home, and throughout their military careers.
The program blends guided workshops, outdoor challenges, and dedicated support from WWP® teammates. Participants practice communication, problem-solving, and stress-management tools in a setting that encourages confidence, connection, and personal growth.
There are two formats that active-duty service members can attend. One is an active-duty specific cohort based on partnerships between WWP and specific installations. The second type is a mixed veteran/active-duty service member event.
Project Odyssey helps active-duty service members build resilience for the demands of military service while laying the groundwork for a confident, successful transition—whenever that time comes.
